About SEWA

Sovereign Edo Women Alliance

SEWA was founded with a vision and a purpose: to create a strong and supportive network of women who uplift, empower, and inspire each other. We believe in the power of community and collaboration as we come together to share our experiences, knowledge, and resources.

Our drive is fueled by the desire to foster personal and professional growth, while our incentives include exciting skills-building opportunities, networking, and mentorship.

By joining this group, you’ll have the chance to connect with like-minded women, participate in engaging workshops and events, and gain valuable insights from experienced mentors. Together, we can create a positive impact and uplift women. We can’t wait to embark on this incredible journey with you.

Mission & Vision Statements

Our Mission

Our mission at SEWA is to foster empowerment for the Edo Woman/Girl Child by creating a strong, impactful space to thrive through unity, outreach, education, and profound community support.

SEWA believes in the quintessence of allyship and diversity. We support and advocate for marginalized women’s rights in Edo State and other community states.

As an alliance, our ethos is to prioritize well-being, growth, and mental health, serving a community of individuals, uplifting and helping women unlock their full potential, boost their ideal qualities, and become their best selves, thereby being able to pass it on and create a sovereign generation.

Our Vision

A future where Edo women lead with strength, resilience and equality in all aspects of life.

The goal at SEWA is to create a dynamic, fulfilling, and valuable journey for every woman.
